Whatever you’re coming from
Importing copies your snippets. Your old app and its files stay exactly as they are.
Each import becomes a new group you can rename, merge, or move snippets out of.
Codes that have a Shorthand equivalent are converted. Anything else is kept as text, and Shorthand tells you how many, so nothing disappears silently.
Turn off expansion in your old app once you’ve imported, so snippets don’t expand twice.
